AutoPilot is a JAVA and J2EE application. It should work with any platform for which BEA WebLogic 8.1 is available.
BEA WebLogic
AutoPilot is currently available for BEA WebLogic 8.1 Platform (sp2 onwards). Support for other versions of WebLogic will be added shortly. If you are running BEA WebLogic 8.1 with service pack level below sp2 please contact Arcturus support for AutoPilot WL for your service pack level.
JDK Support
We recommend the JDK that comes with BEA WebLogic 8.1 Server/Platform (sp2 onwards). Downloadable version of AutoPilot supports JDK 1.4.1.01 onwards. If you are running BEA WebLogic 8.1 with an older version of JDK please contact Arcturus support for AutoPilot WL for your JDK.
Make sure to use the same JDK for BEA WebLogic and AutoPilot. JDK used by AutoPilot is choosen at the time of installing AutoPilot.
Browser Support
AutoPilot Console is currently best viewed with Internet Explorer 6.x or higher and Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7 or higher. AutoPilot Console now supports y supports JDK 1.4 and JDK 1.5 java browser plugin. Support for JDK 1.5.0_07 java browser plugin is added in SP2.
Database Support
Currently following databases are supported for storing AutoPilot data.
Oracle 9i, 10g
MySQL ver 3.5 or higher (http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/). For MySQL max_allowed_packet should be set to 32M. This can be done by adding the max_allowed_packet value in client area of mysql's configuration file (my.cnf)

Database Driver Support
Oracle
We support any driver with CLOB support and is supported by BEA WebLogic. BEA WebLogic 8.1 comes with Oracle driver (oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver) that works great with AutoPilot.
MySQL
We do bundle MySQL driver with AutoPilot. mysql-connector-java-3.1.6-bin.jar can be found under {AutoPilot_Install_Directory}/Server/lib.

Since we are JAVA and J2EE application AutoPilot should work on other platforms where BEA WebLogic is supported. We are continuously working to provide support for more configurations and we will support other platforms and configurations.
