Applicare Advisor: Examining Your WebLogic Server Configuration for Problems

The Applicare Advisor evaluates your WebLogic environment including applications deployed on it. Advisor gives recommendation based on your environment and your usage of WebLogic Server. It is a extremely efficient way of checking for what best practices that can be applied to your environment for overall improvement in Performance and Scalability. Advisor picks up its knowledge from a dynamic database built by our experts with years of WebLogic experience.

Advisor also recommends BEA WebLogic CR's that may be needed in your enviroment based on your utilization of BEA WebLogic features. Advisor does not tell you all the CRs that are available since the version you have. It checks for applicability of a WebLogic CR before making recommendation e.g. if you are not using JMS then JMS related WebLogic CR's may not be applicable to you.

On click of a button Advisor informs you about problem areas that might exist in your WebLogic infrastructure and gives you recommendation that will help to optimize your WebLogic environment.  Advisor analyzes the system, and creates a list of problem areas that will help you tune your system to its optimal performance level.  It will discover what aspects of your system are problematic.  These results can then be displayed/printed and reviewed.

It is recommended to run Advisor before starting WebLogic Optimization. Advisor picks up all the configuration related issues and gives recommendations to remove them before you start WebLogic Optimization for your applications/environment.
